The path winds slowly through the marshes, between the bogs, and over the lonely bridge across the stagnant, decayed tributary of a far-off river. Yet beneath the surface lurks a black dragon, hungry for fresh morsels and new trinkets for the hoard, and to begin to impose its power on the surrounding areas.
A single session encounter suitable for four characters of 11th-13th level.
It happens to every GM sooner or later – the players pick up on an irrelevant detail and follow it like a plot hook, or unexpectedly reveal the villain’s secret identity too early, or get a hostage killed that they should have rescued; suddenly, the plot is up in the air, and even the best GM needs some breathing space to work out where to go next. So, let CORVUS LUNARIS™ take up the slack!
When you need something to fill in a session; add a little extra, dangerous flavour to spice up the game; or just want to relax for a while and leave the next session’s preparations to someone else, look for CORVUS LUNARIS™’s ‘Encounters’ series. Designed to take up around 3-5 hours of gaming, with options to draw it our longer if required, these encounters are fully comprehensive – complete with tactics for combat, suggestions for inserting them into your campaign, a breakdown of the aftermath of the encounter including notes on possible plot hooks if you, as GM, want them, and a ready-to-print scale battlegrid for miniatures combat!
The trade road is long, and the moors are desolate. A few disparate bandits lurk around the area, waiting for merchant caravans carrying valuables that they can steal – but when an adventuring company passes by, they cannot help but wonder what valuable magical treasures these people might carry…

For some, it is not enough to merely summon up a temporary storm. For some, sometimes it is necessary to completely defy the laws of nature on a far more permanent level. Caelumancy, the art of creating permanent weather and environmental effects in an area, is a mysterious form of magic that allows a spellcaster to bring rain to the desert, snow to the tropics, or unleash Armageddon on interlopers. While Druids are the primary masters of the craft, other magic users have learned the value of Caelumancy.
Caelumancy explores the art of such weather magic in concise, practical terms. Now allow spellcasters to craft permanent weather effects as if they were crafting any other type of magical item. This book explains what Caelumancy is, how it works, and offers 37 unique effects that can be created. Also find a variety of new feats that not only maximize the potency of Caelumancy effects, but can benefit other magical crafters as well. Plus information on Sentient Caelumancy effects and example locations that game masters can use to introduce Caelumancy into their setting.Designed for use in d20-style/OGL games, Caelumancy will unlock exciting new powers and magical opportunities for your campaign world.

The poor fighter, everyone knows how poorly he or she compares to the other martial classes. They are good as a ‘dip’ class to pick up a few feats, but woe to those who stay beyond 7th level! Maybe they start out strong, but they swiftly fall behind the curve to their more useful brethren (barbarians, rangers, and paladins). Good at low levels to protect the spellcasters; you must multiclass before 10th level when you become useless.
Not True. Fighters are not only first class, but they are The First Class. Before barbarians, rangers, monks, and paladins; there were the fighters. Far from being poor cousins, all martial classes stem from them. The other martial classes as specialized fighters – and such is the beauty of the fighter that he can be used as such. The ultimate generalist, he can be anything you want him to be.
This book contains over 70 new feats for fighter and 14 new fighter prestige classes, all published under the Open gaming License.
Some sorcerers are blessed with a draconic heritage. Others wield the ambivalent force of chaotic wild magic. If only you were as lucky as these. Your blood runs a sickly purple-black with the presence of an aberration. Perhaps a tentacled fiend was one of your parents or further ancestors; or maybe you were experimented upon as a newborn by deranged and devious minds from the forces of the farthest realm. In any case, this cursed inheritance grants you the ability to wield powerful arcane powers . . . but is it worth having such a twisted form, such as to be nigh unrecognizable from others of your race?
The next title from the Advanced Class line is the 'Aberrant Blood' installment for the sorcerer. While some gain their power from innate bonds to chaos magic, or draconic heritage, the aberrant blood sorcerer has the unfortunate presence of Far Realm corruption in his ancestry. Grow tentacles, open gibbering mouths all across your body, and grow beholder stalk eyes with this new sorcerer class feature and its powers. To finish it off, there's a bonus fourth page containing the Twisted Descendant paragon path, which you can download as a free preview at the Silent7Seven Games 'Aberrant Blood' product page.
