The year is 999, and in the night skies above Legend the lights of the Five Magi circle—not comets but the ancient wizard-kings of Krarth, banished centuries ago, waiting for the turn of the millennium to return to the world they once controlled.
The last day of the old millennium is drawing close, but while Altor and Caelestis have survived their adventures in Wyrd, their quest is far from over. Following a prophecy, they must head south to Crescentium, the Crusaders' foothold in the holy land, and the baking deserts and bizarre creatures that lie beyond. Mighty djinnis, fire-worshippers, the legendary Roc ... and of course the Magi's ever-present cultists. They must make alliances if they are to have any chance of succeeding—but when the end of the world beckons, it's every man for himself.
Based on the classic Bloodsword series of gamebooks, the Chronicles of the Magi trilogy is a fantastic adventure through the Lands of Legend, the setting for the Dragon Warriors RPG. Each book is a great read, but also contains background, trivia and colourful characters from Legend that any Gamesmaster will find easy to weave into their campaigns.
The Chronicles of the Magi series are written by the architect of Legend, Dave Morris. Originally released by Hodder in 1997, the books have been out of print for almost ten years, and are now available in digital form exclusively through Magnum Opus Press.

Altor and Caelestis have escaped from Krarth with the pommel-stone of the Sword of Life, the only weapon that may be able to defend the world against the Magi. But their quest to find and reunite the other parts of the sword is only just beginning, and the trail grows colder—literally—as they must head north into the frozen wastes of Wyrd, the land of the Warlock King, where they will battle foes beyond imagining. But the cultists of the Magi are hard on their heels, and the mysterious Icon the Ungodly remains a constant threat...

The year is 999, and in the night skies above Legend the lights of the Five Magi circle—not comets but the ancient wizard-kings of Krarth, banished centuries ago, waiting for the turn of the millennium to return to the world they once controlled.
Altor, a young warrior-monk returning to his abbey, finds himself ambushed by werewolves and charged with a dying man's quest. He must reunite the pieces of the Sword of Life, supposed to be the only thing that could stop the Magi's return. But first he must forge an unlikely alliance with the charming rogue Caelestis, and descend into the terrifying Battlepits of Krarth, an awesome gauntlet of combat and sorcery, to win the favour of a modern-day magus. But in the massive labyrinth, where nothing is as it seems, can they trust anyone—even each other?

The citizens of Wolfsheim are literally caught in the middle of a supernatural turf war between the fae monsters known as goblins and the Titan-serving werewolves of one Werner Krieger. For untold years the citizens were forced by the goblins to participate in a yearly ritual, a macabre version of trick or treat called Kindernacht. When Werner Krieger came to the town’s mayor with the promise to end the goblin’s reign of terror in exchange for exclusive mining and industrial rights to the rich ore deposits nearby, it seemed the perfect solution.
What the mayor (or the townsfolk) did not expect was to be dealing with yet another supernatural threat in the form of werewolves. The werewolves partially upheld their promise, only to steal the Kindernacht ritual and twist it into a yearly hunt of the children of Wolfsheim. Now the two inhuman forces fight each other for control of the town and its people, not caring who gets in their way.

A wedding should be a time of happiness and celebration, as two families come together in a union of love. That is, of course, unless the two families in question are noble houses of Westeros, and the wedding is supposed to end a long and bitter feud between them.
Wedding Knight is an introductory tale for A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying (SIFRP), built around the story of an impending noble marriage and the families it proposes to unite. This 16-page adventure presents a tale filled with intrigue, betrayal, and challenge for a Westeros noble house as they host the wedding party. Can your characters navigate the "happy occasion" and survive with their reputations, alliances, and their house intact?
